Biden's Ocean Train

Hey there Reader,

I hope you are enjoying your summer thus far. I mean, if high 50s is summer, then we have arrived! For those running Grandma's Marathon tomorrow, many would argue the temps are near perfect or perhaps even a little warm. My daughter will be running her first marathon! She's never been one to ease into anything - just go for it. So, it's no surprise her first major run would be Grandma's 26.2 miles of pure (I'll let you fill in the blank). Good luck to all!

There is much to be excited about in the world of travel these days. New routes, new ships and new trains. Currently, despite the lack of workers, most routes are open and taking flight from an airport near you. Consider flying from a smaller, regional airport to eliminate the hassle involved with going through security and finding your gate in a reasonable amount of time. Alternatively, if the prices are prohibitive, remember there are transportation options to get you to a major airport such as Landline and Groome Transportation.

Have you heard the buzz around the new adult-only cruise concept? It's like Vegas at sea. And also like Zen at sea. It has so much to offer, you can do it all or do nothing at all; it's your choice! But you will always have a kid-free vacation, plenty of onboard entertainment options, and even a chance to get new ink while onboard! Did I mention it was kid free?

If this sounds like something of interest, let's chat! I have special group rates and incentives to share with you!

Finally, Joe Biden — and I am NOT making this up — proposed building an 8,000-mile train across the Pacific Ocean.

Read that again. Or better yet, listen for yourself:

“We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean.”

I can’t WAIT to see Biden’s new Ocean Train! It was cute how excited he was, no? Biden’s brain, what’s left of it, is already riding the rails, but I digress.

As you know, summer is here, but the Solstice is just around the corner and that means the days begin to get shorter as we head back toward winter. That sounded so evil, sorry, but it's true! I have been busy booking Spring Break 2024 groups and winter travel, so don't be caught in the cold (literally!) let's get your winter vacation booked NOW so you can take advantage of the early bird rates. This will also allow you to pick what you want, versus what is left over! Remember, you can also take advantage of the interest-free payment plans when you book with us - it's like layaway for vacation!

To the next stamp in your passport,

Hey, jet-setters and daydreamers, buckle up because we're about to dive into the exhilarating world of splurging on vacations and why it's high time to ditch the 'someday' mentality! Jen Maki here, remember me? I've been doing what I do best over here saving the day with Delta's nonstop schedule changes while advocating for trading FOMO for YOLO. Picture this: you're lounging on a pristine beach, a cocktail in hand, and the only decision you have to make is whether to snorkel with colorful...

Reader, Last week I was in Belize, specifically, San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. For my Madonna fans out there, you may recognize it as, “La Isla Bonita”. I know there are many parts to any country; look at the US for example. If you only went to Minnesota in January you may decide that the US is where the term, “when hell freezes over” came from. But during that same month, sunshine blankets the islands of Hawaii and Puerto Rico and you may think you’ve found Paradise. I’ve been to both and...

Namaste and Happy Tuesday! COVID derailed many of our plans for 2020 including organizing group travel to exotic places. Between lockdowns and vaccine requirements we all but threw the baby out with the bath water on this idea, but I’m excited to announce that we are moving forward with an exciting itinerary and opportunity for you to travel to India in 2024! I just got off a zoom meeting with the organizers of this amazing tour, Creative Events of India. They are a local tour company in...
